You sit down to try and plan only to discover you don’t have a clue where to start. Webster’s tells us that marketing is the process or technique of promoting, selling, and distributing a product or service. The reality is marketing is much like a pinball game: every time you send something out, it can jump around and connect with several targets, or it can race through the flippers and not connect at all. You do it again, though, as the trick is not to lose momentum; you’ve got to continue sending new marketing promotions out to your select client group. Even if you gain only one client each promotion, consider how much money that client can bring to your business per year and how many potential clients that one client can bring to you.
