Licensing Requirements Home
Greece
General information only.. as provided Sept. 2000 by a currently
licensed nail technician residing in Greece:
To become a nail technician in Greece you need to have 3 years experience in Greece with full time hours and a letter from employer.
If you are from the US, Canada etc you need 4 years experience. You take a letter from your employer to the Greek
Consulate and pay a stamp fee to get it authorized and stamped. Then you must take the letter in Athens to the
ministry of foreign affairs to get it translated into Greek, pay an other stamp fee.
You must become a Greek resident, get a health book, get a voters book, apply for the test at the local
licensing board AND pass your exam.
Whew, then you get to go through more red tape of opening a store!
