Gelish Polish
#1
I am creating my price for the new salon I will be working in and wanted to see what everyone else is charging for Gel Polish application. I don't want to over charge or under charge.

Thanks

I charge a $10 add on to any nail service, includes removal. However I don't do the toes with it. Big Grin

We have been doing the same - charging an extra $10.00 on any manicure service. We have been charging an extra $15.00 on any pedicure service. (Most toes, we find, need a lot of prep work and buffing to make a smooth and professional looking gel polish application. Usually a bit more time consuming than the manicure application.)

We are trying to come up with some kind of platform set-up to do just gel toes without using the pedicure area tub. Some clients are skipping the full pedi and just getting the polish application to save a bit of money because of the extra upcharge for the gel toe polish. But there is still alot of prep work that needs to be done to the toes before the gel application. An awkward set-up to do the gel toes is a hindrance as well as a time waster. Have not figured out a better set-up as yet.

So for those clients that want gel toes only without the pedi or gel nails with no manicure, what would you charge?

I don't do toes so I don't know if this will help but when a client of mine want gel polish with NO manicure I charge 20 because I still have to prep fir application. This again includes removal. Just no shaping, no hydration, no scrub or massage. sounds so sad huh? No massage.

I add 10.00 for nails or toes. As for set up I use a large cutting board across the tub of the pedicure throne I put a cover across the tub so the board want move Works great

wow maybe i charge to much...i charge 30.00 for a gel mani,, and 10.00 for removal,, but if they get same color i just charge 20.00 for a "fill".. and if they want it on their toes,, i charge 25.00 over cost of pedi,,, since they dont need any polish for it least 2 months,, and for a fill i just charge 15.00.. now if they come in and just want polish and no pedi,, i charge same as fingers,, 30.00 for application, and 20.00 for fills and 10.00 for removal...
