I can not believe the stuff these people get away with. I am truly disgusted. One of my new clients daughters has been going to a NSS. She went in and got her nails taken off the other day and the lady took a tip and wedged it down under the prodct and lifted her nails off that way. this girl had a nail that was broken into the nail bed and anothe one that was split on the nail bed just holding on by the edges! :x Confusedhock: Sad the condition of this girls nails was sickening. she said she was bleeding when they were taking them off. literally dripping blood down a couple of her fingers.... my finger tips hurt for her. i am getting more and more pissed at the practices that go on in places like this. Im going to call her and ask her to report this to our state board. she is coming in on tuesday so i can atleast repair the split in her nail.this stuff makes me mad! :x

Dahlin, not sure what state you are in, but many will accept a complaint from a (pardon the expression here) fellow professional. You need to do this or have the girl do it, this practice is appalling and needs to be addressed and stopped. Take the best pictures you can of the dame (and send them to me, I wqnt to put them on the consumer site for edu purposes)

There is a thread here.. maybe I put it in the sticky nailtech section fried brain this am..oops its 2p!! anyway it listed some of the states that accept a complaint of a prof from a prof (as opposed to from a consumer) and there is no reason both can not be done if the state will acept your compaint..

dont hesitate..

not sure how i found this in recipes but its obviously been too long. she was coming in on tuesday before thanksgiving and ended up canceling so i didnt get any pics of the damage. i wish i would have. you wouldnt have believed it. i was upset she canceled. i saw her a couple of weeks go and her nails had grown out conciderably. anyhow, i will remember to make complaints on things like this. wkdwich thanks for posting.orry it took me so long to find this. i just didnt expect it in recipies! LOL
