I am starting work on an article for NAILPRO's March 2012 issue about, as the subject line says, drama in the salon, and need some sources.
Here is the scope of the article:
In a field made up predominantly of women, drama is bound to ensue in the salon. Many salons will say that from time to time, the environment is rife with drama. From cattiness and gossip to just plain childish behavior, women seem to have the innate knack to make a mountain out of a molehill. The article will share tips and ways to remove the drama from the salon and create a professional atmosphere.
If you are interested in being a source for this article, please email me your suggestions at grapevine86 (at) sbcglobal (dot) net, and MAKE SURE to include your full name, salon name, and the city where your salon is located.
Please note that I'm not looking for long examples of stories/gossip that are full of detail: just an overview and ways that the drama caused trouble in the salon and/or how you nipped it in the bud and created new rules and such.
I'm not asking specific questions this time; I will email individually with follow-ups.
Thanks in advance!!
