This has a 21 page thread on Salon Geek. They are planning a big launch in the UK in February. A few people in Canada and the US already have it. There is an application video on You Tube. It is made by Famous Names LLC which also makes Lumos which is the best speed dry topcoat I have ever used.

Thank you all for asking about IBX, IBX is a New, Innovation and EXCITING product from Famous Names. IBX is the first nail treatment of its kind. IBX is being launched in the US at The ISSE Long Beach show in California this coming weekend.

IBX is a Natural Nail Strengthening System made to be used UNDER ALL Gel Polish and to be used to strengthen and grow natural nails. What makes IBX unique is that once the IBX treatment has been done, there isn't anything left on the nail, IBX works INSIDE the nail not on top!!!!

Take a look at http://www.ibxnails.com, you can find our brochure, where you can find the before and after photos, how to video and instructions. Please let me know if I can answer any questions for you?

I received my order yesterday and put it on myself last night. The application was easy and I used a hair dryer to dry the nails. I have ordered a heat lamp but it has not yet arrived. The IBX repair did fuse together my peels and significantly improved the look of my other nail damage. Then the IBX actually felt like it was strengthening my nails under the UV lamp. I will let you know how my nails do with this. BTW I put SOG over this treatment.

Ann, where did you get your heat lamp? I was wondering if my Minx lamp would work? Then I realized the bulb wattage was different. Some mini hand dryers get hot and I don't want to cause my client and discomfort.

I ordered an inexpensive infrared lamp and fixture to hold it onto my table with a clamp. It has not yet arrived. I used a hair dryer on myself and it worked great. Once I get my lamp, I will test it out and then if it is good, I will post the information. My understanding is that the Minx lamp works.

Any ideas on how to "heat dry" without using a hair dryer or other piece of equipment? I have limited space and don't want to add machinery clutter to my table top. Would it work air dry?

My understanding is that heat helps it soak into the nail. If you have a desk lamp with a 75 watt bulb that will work.

Thanks Ann Ann. I am going to try my Minx lamp and see if it works. Let me know how your heat lamp works when you've had a chance to use it.

It absolutely does what it says. All my SOG & NNO clients are using it. Actually, I've switched most of my enhancement clients to SOG's with IBX. I'm the worlds biggest skeptic when it comes to "miracles". Nails that were once wimpy are now strong and flexible. And, no, I'm not on their payroll! ;o)

Are you curing in a UV or LED lamp? Their You-tube vid shows LED but in the earlier discussions here, I see members say they are using UV - thanks again

Instructions recommend always using Repair when doing SOG. SOG removal is 10 min soak in acetone and after that, the nails can use the Repair.
