Any products you hate
#1
I just thought this would be interesting to see which products you hate, feel like you wasted money on ect.

I'll list mine...
OPI Mach 5 glue ...the 5 is supposed to stand for how many seconds it takes to dry...HA! maybe in Narnia

CND super matte topcoat... I purchased this because Salon Centric Had the big bottle on sale for $3 now I know why it was on sale. It's not even matte. It just makes the polish look like it has a yucky gray film over it, and it takes FOREVER to dry. I don't know how that possibly made it through r&d. Very embarrassing CND.

IBD Intense Seal... a uv top coat very un reliable when it comes to bald spots and spikey things

If I think of any more ill post again.

Gel sealers, all of them ! They work perfect on me, but suck on clients...VERY unreliable and fussy...never know if there will be bald spots or spikes when coming out of the lamp...CND marine mask...PIA to remove...

I don't like the CND Scentsation lotion. I don't like the consistency, it's way too thin, and hate the way it makes my hands feel.

Omg, I love that lotion, lol!

OPI's first gel polish line - what a waste of money. Same with Eco's gel polish in the pots. I ended up throwing away the entire lines, too rubbery and easy for clients to pick off.

I never had problems with the OPI Axxium SOG peeling. Cosmoprof discontinued them so I stocked up. I use them for pedicures though, so maybe that's why.

It didn't peel on it's own... it was just too easy for clients to peel off! Sort of rubbery and way too tempting for some.

Ahhhh shucks!!! I value your feedback Candice, and wish I would have known that before I stocked up on all they had. I always say I'm not an OPI girl yet I have lots of their products that I really like.

I learned from another tech to try pro products that are great even though they have never been featured in Glamour or Cosmo. After all that stocking up I did, I haven't used one pot yet! I invested in ibd's Just Gel sog polish and have been using it primarily ever since. How crazy is that? I know, I'm kicking myself too....and my wallet is just as upset! Won't make that mistake again!

Are you talking about the current OPI gel polish that is a brush on? I was referring to their original that was in pots - I think they discontinued it a while back, but I could be wrong. I have tried the new OPI gel polish, and while it's not for me, it's way better than their original line.

If you did stock up the original in pots - I did have clients who did just fine with it, it was only those who would pick that were a problem. Unfortunately, my experience was that about half my people found it fun to pick off! If you did get this one you might just need to be extra stern with them about the potential damage from picking off. Smile I just didn't want to bother with something like that, but if you just spent the money... use it up!

I saw axxium soak off gel in my latest book from industry source... so yeah they still make it. We got this in our kits from school. I did not like it because the jars get so messy and you waste gel stirring it.

Yeah I purchased the pots. I haven't used the sog in the bottle, but the salon I'm going to will be. The owner doesn't have a nail tech, new salon mind you, and she purchased the OPI sog polish kit when CosmoProf had it clearanced. So I'll have to use that for now, but definitely suggested SOG polish that I prefer and use.

Thanks for your feedback on the OPI sog pots ladies, I really appreciate it!!

CND Raw Earth line. Warming sugar scrub is sticky, soak smells like dirt (or Raw Earth, I guess).
