Buffers and Files question
#1
Hi All,

Can you please tell me what buffers you like to use? Also,if its not the same one, which one you like to use on nails that are peeling. Last, do you like those little single use disposable buffers?

In school we were taught to use the emery board on natural nails however I find it's too hard on some nails. Do you have a file preference for natural nails?

Thanks, I need to order ASAP so I appreciate your responses.

I find the standard purple buffers from the beauty supply work fine. I cut them into quarters using a plastic knife and throw them away after each use.

On natural nails, I like the black wood boards from Soft Touch. The grit is pretty fine and not as harsh as emery boards. I also try to cut these in half and throw them away. If you are looking for reusable files, I find 180 or 240 grit work great. I also keep a couple crystal files on hand for t hose who have very weak/thin nails.

I love OPI 1x use files. For buffers I use the standard orange ones. Be sure to get white grit ones though.

Try a glass file for natural nails! It won't tear them or leave rough spots.
