Gel polish competition

Ive decided to enter a gel polish competition at an upcoming hair show. Ive never competed professionaly before. Have any of you done this type of competition? What is a hairline tip? Its talked about in the rules.

the front edge of the nail has to be covered with gel.
That is what they are referring to. Kudos to you for reading and understanding all the rules. It makes a huge difference. Also look over the judging sheet if it is available to see how they pick apart the components to score you.

There is usually a pre comp meeting where you get to ask questions to make sure you are clear on all the rules.
