Nail Polish & Clients
#1
Is it rude of me to tell clients if they want a particular Essie or OPI shade to buy it and bring it in themselves?
I do have about 80 shades to choose from.

I always tell my clients who can't seem to decide on a color, from my selecton of 150, that they are always more than welcome to bring their own color. But I make sure and tell them that I can't tell them how it will wear if it's a brand I am not familiar with.

It's not rude, unless you say it rudely. Offering a range of colors doesn't mean you'll necessarily have their favorites. However, if you carry Essie, but not Mademoiselle, or OPI, but not I'm Not Really a Waitress, it would be unusual.
