QR Code ?
#1
I was wondering if anyone uses a QR Code for your business, and who you went through to get it. Thanks!

I do use them. I go here http://www.qrstuff.com/ to generate mine. I have a specials page created on my website and that's the website that I have embedded in the qr code. This way, no matter when someone scans it they will have our current specials. I print out tic tac wrappers and have it on there and use those to give out when I'm at local events.

PS. If you google qr code you can find a ton of information about various ways to use the code. Here is just one website I found http://www.fastcompany.com/1720193/13-cr...-marketing

But people are putting qr codes on hats, shirts, coffee mugs, rings, necklaces, anything you can print on you can add your qr code.

I think QR codes are GREAT. You can get free ones generated at https://bitly.com/ It creates a shortened URL for you and a code...It's free but you can only create one code per page. So, if you were thinking of creating multiple codes for your homepage (ie, one for your business card, one for a print advertisement, etc.) and tracking what brings more people to your site, you won't be able to do that with Bit.ly. BUT, if you only want one code it could be a good option for you.

thank you all so much for the information!! I have not had time to go through it yet but will tonight. I thought it would be great idea to make these and have them on a badge for the shows that we go to (and the Orlando BBQ) instead of carrying around business cards we could just "scan" each other- easiest way to connect afterwards right?
