Looking for a product like "Linkage"
#1
of all similar products I'd found Linkage works the best for my clients, especially clients who have thin nails

but... too many problems obtaining the product (currently, 3 weeks since order) and other problems

it's been a while since I looked at new similar products

do you use something that makes a significant improvement?

Linkage is a protein primer, like young nails protein bond, which is awesome. I'd trybthat as a replacement

I did try that and did not see as good as a result...
maybe worth a try again....

Try E-Link from Elite Beauty Supplies.

http://tx.elitebeautysupplies.com/

As far as I know, it's identical to Linkage. I have used both and they're exactly the same.

I save it for my most difficult lifters. Others I use Something Wonderful from Nailite. It works really great, too.

chemically, different

Nailite Something Wonderful....
ethyl acetate
2,2-bis-(4-(2-hydroxy-3-
methacryloxypropoxy)BIS-GMA
2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate

Linkage
Acetic acid ethyl ester > 55.0 % > 65.0%
Aliphatic urethane diacrylate > 15 % > 17.0 %
Methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane > 0.5 % > 0.5 %
Dibutyl-tin-dilaurate < 0.05 % < 0.05 %

Protein Bond
Ethyl Acetate 80-85%
Glycol Methacrylate 5-10%
(1-Methylethylidene)BIS[4, 1-Phenyleneoxy(2-Hydroxy-3, 1-Propanediyl)] Bismethacrylate 5-10%

but worth a try... been nearly three weeks and seller is not responding to my inquiries (linkage)

thanks... I'll see if I can find a msds...

the gossip.....
local seller....... sometimes a month to receive product, weeks before she replies to "where is my shipment", or website says "quantity insufficient" for two bottles... contact her, no reply...contact again, eventually terse reply... one arrived with a broke cap (well wrapped, it was packaged like that, leaking), a round of discussions... told she would send a replacement, more emails....

I had asked some Q's about the product, I find it works best on my clients when it is the thinnest, bottle first opened for some weeks... I'm trying to figure out how to keep it thin... asked too many questions....
she told me off... so I approached Canadian seller... (then the local seller really told me off ;-) )

I thought we (all) had agreed I would purchase from Canadian seller.. I understood it would have to be through a paypal sale... (complications of their agreement)

when I contacted Canadian seller last month... the going around started again, she sent me a brilliant summary of the product and handling, I asked questions (including cost and how to set up the purchase) three emails... and she got irritable... "buy it or don't buy it" kind of thing.... and finally answered the sale process question
I like the product enough to take some poor treatment... but... that doesn't work if I never receive it
her last email... (I asked how long to receive) said "I can't answer that as I'm not the postal service....."
and...... I'd asked for the package return address last week, needed by the post office... she never sent...

it's a great product, but... now I've finally worked the bugs out of using it... I can't get the delivery... and... too stressful...

so... I'm shopping for a replacement...

I've used both the E-Link (now Super Bond) & Linkage. There's absolutely no difference that I can find between the two. Contact Donna at Elite. 936-557-2148 I'm sure she can help you. I really have no clue about TEN in OK or Canada. I know the 2 are different companies but they sell the same products. I've heard different accounts who did what to whom and frankly it's none of my concern. The products are absolutely the best and I won't use any other hard gel but Elite/TEN. I've been at this nail thing for more years than I care to admit. I hope you can get your Linkage or SuperBond or whatever name it is. Remember the saying: A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.

received yesterday... almost a month....
and fortunate... because there was still no response to requested post office info about return address, description of package etc...
inexplicable

very open to trying new products... I was trying new products when I found the last set that were an improvement.... will call Donna... willing to try gels too... should have ordered with Linkage, running low... but then when product did not arrive, did not arrive... didn't order...

would also be nice to find product developers who are not angry/defensive about questions... when I'm having complications with a product but you can see the potential... makes sense to me, to ask... "what is this" " why does that happen" "can I do this or that with this"
the way I see it, I'm hanging in there trying to get the best results for me and my client...
no response, a slap down or anger... don't help me work with the product...

and don't make me feel like sending money ;-)
maybe that's just me...

Gwen, where is your order coming from ?
I do not have you as a customer in my data base and even coming from Canada it would only take a week at most.
