Just wondering if anyone doesn't do pedicures due to a full book of enhancements. I feel guilty for turning away calls for mani-pedis, because I'm more comfortable and efficient booking enhancements on a tight, structured, consistent schedule.

I would rather do what you are doing!!!!
I believe there will ALWAYS be a place for "regular polish" I hate regular polish- it could be the crappy base /top coat my salon provides but its always more "work" to me..... they constantly smudge before leaving - I'm constantly having to have them sit * fix - it seems to be a PIA to me!
She has some big glass jar that only says "BASE COAT" & another glass jar that says "UV TOP COAT" - sometimes this top coat works good, other times I get wrinkles! She carries a few different brands of actual polish - but I cringe at doing polish---- I know bring in my own - I provide this place with way too much of my personal supplies already- long story & yes I've been looking for new position.

A friend recently told me her salon drips cuticle oil on top of finished polished nails & they say it helps dry them - anyone else do this?

It doesnt make it dry faster but it creates a slick surface so things don't get stuck the polish and ruin it. It really is a great trick and does help a lot.
Thanks!
Michelle, I never did mani's or pedis.. I also was overbooked with enhancements and quite happy doing that..
