I'm looking into buying a place and am considering booth rental for nail services. I've only worked on commission so I have no idea how to go about this or what the best way to do this is. I would appreciate any advice or tips.

thank you!

The Small Business Administration is a good place to start if you are looking into starting a biz. The SBA works with and sponsors several organizations that provide free help to entrepreneurs to help with things like writing a business plan, financials, and HR. SCORE is an SBA program that is free and the mentors are all former business owners, CEOs, COOs, CPAs. I got some great info from several meetings with different mentors in my area. That said, it does help to know what questions to ask, so start out with at least a mission statement of what you want to do, why, and where and hopefully what problem you will solve (what market, demographic, or special need). This doesn't have to be formal, just your thoughts - you will be surprised how much it helps just to have this written out in your planning process!
