Do you ladies have any ideas for advertising for your home business? do your prices reflect that of salons in your area or do you charge less for services because it's out of your home? any and all ideas please
Your expenses are not less just because it is out of your home. You still have to pay "rent" in the form of electric, heating, phone, etc....
Start with a fb page for your "salon" and use the friend search for local people. Upload lots of pics.
There are many ways to advertise yourself, but this is the easiest way and the cheapest way.

I actually charge more. My clients have the privilege of coming to my home for personal attention. It's all in how your market yourself.
Do you live in a neighborhood with a homeowners association? Before you start business from home, make sure it is legal for you to do so. Many States, Cities, and homeowners associations have rules against running a business inside your home. Especially if there will be extra traffic up and down your street and then there is parking.
Yes i've done all the zoning, licensing and permits. Just wondering about marketing and pricing. I'm very excited to get this off the ground and make it successful. Thank you for your help so far...
