Patty Blanusa
Almost 20 years after she began, Patty continues to be passionate about nails. Always eager to learn, she looks forward to a continued bright future working together with Creative Nail Design for the past 9 years to raise the standards of the nail industry. Mindy Borrego
Granby, CT
Mindy received her Colorado manicuring license in 1987. Upon returning to her
home state of Connecticut in late 1988, she opened "Mindyfingers," a
nails-only salon the following year. She was the columnist of 'Net Notes for
Nailpro, and still serves as a member of that magazine's advisory board. In 1997
she was selected 1st runner-up for Nails magazine "Nail Technician of the
Year;" the following year she was 4th runner-up for Nailpro's "World's
Top Tech,"--the only nail tech to be so honored by both major industry
publications. She frequently judges nail competitions nationally as well as
internationally, and held the position of Head Judge for the Nailpro
competitions. She received her Creative Nail Design Master Nail Technician
certification in 1996. In addition, she is a Nailpro cover tech and has worked
on the set of Saturday Night Live doing nails on the guest artist. She can also
be found (occasionally in the lounge--with an Appletini in hand) on the annual
"Nail Those Profits at Sea" cruises.

Peters
California
As a nail technician, she has wowed the industry with her championship nails and became the industry authority on nail competitions. As a cover artist and author, her work has been published worldwide, more than any other tech in the history of the nail business. As an educator, she has trained techs from Russia, Germany, Japan, Ireland, UK, Canada, Mexico, Africa, Australia and the US. As an industry leader, she has mentored thousands. As a world-master nail technician, Peters, as VP of Vicki Peters Signature Series/Beautiful Nails, will pioneer the industry to new levels.

Darlene Sammons
Chattanooga, Tennessee
Darlene is a cosmetologist and aesthetician who has been doing nails for 26 years in Tennessee. She entered her first nail competition in 1996 in Atlanta. Her second competition she entered she placed 3rd in 1998 at the Great American Nail Faire. She has been a Creative Nail Design Master Nailtech since 1996 and has worked for Backscratchers Salon Systems for almost 2 years as an educator. She currently works as an instructor part-time at Miller-Motte Technical College in Chattanooga, TN and also works at Bei Capella Salon and Spa part-time while educating for Backscratchers and KUPA/Vicki Peters Signature Series. She offers non-product-specific classes to nailtechs and is a educator for the Association of Electric File Manufacturers. She also has certificates in Reflexology, Neuromuscular therapy, hot stone therapy and is a certified Nailpro competition judge. She is a licensed massage therapist and maintains a small massage practice at her home.

Vitaly Solomonoff

prior to his career within Professional Nail Industry, Vitaly was a
medical doctor. Currently the founder and President of Academy of Nail Art
- Moscow Russia. The founder for NAIL SERVICE Magazine and Publisher and
Editor-in-chief for NAILURE MAGAZINE. He has been doing nails for 8 years
as a nail-tech and international educator for 6 years. Vitaly also, is the
author of professional articles for European and Russian media. In the
professional field, he has created technology of Male Attache Manicure,
special velvet nail-art, professional education course for nail-tech which
set the standards in highest quality education in Russia and Europe,
Technology of FORTE PEDICURE and Hot sand manicure. During the last three
years has performed duties as a judge for Competitions in Russia, USA and
Europe.

Diana Bonn
Muncie, Indiana
Diana had been a competition judge for 4 years, trained by Vicki Peters.
She has been a nail technician for 12 years and owned her own salon for 8
years.
Since 2000, Diana has been an electric file educator, CEU educator for
Indiana, and an educator for Maly's and private accounts teaching OSHA,
State Laws, Diseases, Sanitation and also Nail Classes.
She currently is a member of the INTA task force, contributor to both
NAILS and Nail Pro magazines, had a hand in changing laws in several
states concerning MMA, and is a nail technician advisor for Indiana State
board of Cosmetology.

Catherine has been a nailtech since 2001. She owns a nail salon in La Paz, Mexico. Wanting always to study art, Catherine went to college to study graphic design. When she discovered nails, she knew that is what she wanted and decided to take it very seriously. It is
impossible to receive nail education in La Paz, "almost everything I have learned is through educational books and DVDs, but when you want to learn.."
Catherine's nail art has been published in Nails International Magazine and several websites.
"I have been so lucky to have met Vicki Peters, also I have encountered Gina Wallace and she was the one who
inspired me to enter my first Nail Art contest, I learned to airbrush with her educational DVD, winning the Strut your stuff 2005."

Debbie McKinley - has been an active member in the nail industry for the past 13 years in Ontario as a Salon Owner, Nail Technician, Veteran Competitor in Canada and the USA as well as International Judge. Besides being a contributing writer for various trade magazines, she is also the Nail Technicians Alliance of Canada Chapter President for the GTA and an NTAC Certified Senior Educator. Deborah is presently an OPI Educator. Debbie is committed to educating and training nail technicians to make themselves the best they can be.

Slawomir Wos is the owner of Euro Fashion - one of the biggest
distributors and wholesalers of nail industry in Europe. Euro Fashion is
manor distributor of 30 American firms in Europe. Slawomir has specialized
in nails since 1995. He is an organizer of Polish Championships of Nails
Decorating "Nail Art" and "Nail Creations"- on feet
and International Championship of Nails Decorating "International
Nail Art". He was jury member 3 times in Nailpro Nai Art Championship
in Frankfurt and in 2003 in the Beautytech Strut Your Stuff. Everybody
knows his sense of beauty and esthetics and because of that he was
championships juror for many times. Slawomir is one of the very first
managers who represent nail industry in Poland and Europe. Probably
He is the only one male in Poland who knows everything
about nails. He's always happy to show people new ways of nail art that's

Denise Wright

Denise has been in the industry for 19 years, nails has always been her passion and
she wanted to have a salon of my own. At The age of 21, Denise purchased
her first salon, expanded into a second salon and added a training Academy, teaching national vocation qualifications.
Denise is an examiner for a governing body providing recognized qualifications and writes national Nail exam papers for the UK.
She also moderates new standards through their development process. As an author
Denise write for trade magazines highlighting trade trends. She started competing in 1992 and
has achieved 13 wins in the UK . This year Denise have traveled internationally and gained 2 placements.
Denise am employed as a competition director for the UK and Scotland and enjoy running the award ceremony.
As a regular speaker at trade shows Denise encourages new competitors into the circuit and highlight what rewards competition can have on their business.

Wallace

Gina Wallace is best known for her web-based nail training
DVDs used in conjunction with the one-of-a-kind Nail
Trainer nail training hand (nailtrainerhand.com and
ginawallace.com), but she has aggressively been involved
in the nail industry since 1992.
Since winning many nail and nail art trophies, she has been judging both nail and nail art competitions since 1999. In 2000-2002,
she founded two independent brands of nail extension
and nail art training course/kits. Since that time, she has written three
how-to books and has been featured in countless
nail-industry publications world-wide. She was also an expert feature
contributor for SCRATCH magazine (a UK based nail magazine) in 2004 and 2005. Most recently, she was instrumental in the

Sue Schultes, C.E.O. of Notorious Nails Seminars, is an internationally
renown, award winning Nail Artist with over 20 years experience. She has

Tammy has been in the beauty and nail industry for 25 years. She currently
owns/manages a nail & beauty school which is a registered training
school in Australia. Tammy has been training and educating for the last 12
years. Always thinking out side of the square she lives in, Tammy traveled
to the USA for the Orlando Premiere trade show in August 2006 to gain and
learn new technology, to keep the industry in Australia up to date most
importantly her school up with the latest and greatest. "I was very
lucky to meet some of the greatest in the industry and am excited to have
an opportunity to judge this competition."
