MM-16

The "Pentagon/ U.S. ribbon" nail was done on a Beauty Secrets tip.  I used water-based acrylic paint pots from Wal-Mart, a round PLAID 3/0 brush and the green Vrush pen brush. I painted the nail white first.  I then painted the pentagon using white, gray and black paint.  I then painted the ribbon with red, white and blue paint.  I used SoEasy red glitter striper on the red paint and Glimmerz glitter dust in Royal Blue on the blue.  I then topped it off with Out The Door's Northern Lights.

The "Eagle/Flag" nail is a Beauty Secrets tip that was first airbushed with an Iwata HP-A, MEDEA AM2000 compressor and Createx airbrush paints in red, white and blue for the flag.  I used TMF masking to make a 1/2 square for the "star" area and sprayed it blue. I used the Medea NAS608 for the red stripes.  Then used the Jumpeer Nail stencil for the stars.  I then hand-painted the eagle with acrylic water-based paint pots from Wal-Mart. I used the round PLAID 3/0 and green Vrush pen brushes.  I used black, brown, white, gray and yellow for the eagle.  I painted over the red stripes with red, white and brown to give definition.  I painted over the white stripes with white and gray.  I painted the stars white and topped it off with Out the Door's Northern Lights.

The "New York/ Twin Towers" nail was airbrushed using the Iwata HP-A and MEDEA  AM2000 compressor.  I used Too Much Fun and Createx airbrush paints.  I sprayed the Beauty Secrets tip white.  I used Createx opaque yellow, TMF #14 (pink) and TMF #59 (blue), blending from the bottom to the top.  I then lightly sprayed up the tip from the yellow with Createx satin gold for shimmer.  I took the Pacific Airbrush SS-44 stencil and TMF white and made the "towers of light" brighter on bottom and lighter towards the top.  I then made the fireworks by holding the nozzle of the airbrush on the tip and angling the spray, letting small amounts of paint out and turning for the firework effect.  I then took the STL-345 stencil and did a "New York" skyline including the Statue of Liberty in Createx black.  I sealed it with TMF sealer.  I used TMF glitter polish on the fireworks and used the round PLAID 3/0 brush and water-based acrylic paint pot white for the "lights" in the buildings.  I then topped it off with Out The Door's Northern Lights.

The "America" nail is a Beauty Secrets tip.  I used an Iwata HP-A and MEDEA AM2000 compressor and Createx red, and TMF white and blue (#04) airbrush paint. I sprayed the tip white.  I sprayed red at the top on an angle and then blue at the opposite angle on the bottom, leaving very little white.  I used the Jumpeer Nail stencil and lightly sprayed the stars white.  I then took the STL-345 stencil and sprayed AMERICA across the little bit of white between the red and blue.  I took stencil DP-07 and sprayed the Statue of Liberty white.  I then used stencil DP-20 for George Washington and Abraham Lincoln's heads in white.  I sealed with TMF sealer and then a coat of Out The Door's Northern Lights.
