Long Island Networking Day I just want to say what an incredible inspiration this day was to me. The complete lack of competition between the attending educators was heart warming. I watched many attendees take notes, everyone watching demos, getting demos and in some case working on each other while the educator guided, offered tips, tricks and mentored. The amazing desire of everyone, techs and educators alike, to absorb any and all knowledge was motivating beyond belief. The talent and knowledge offered up by the educators was top notch and truly appreciated by all. We had attendees and educators not just from the Long Island and NYC area,. They came from as far away as Virginia, Maryland, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and Texas! Thank you all for attending, contributing and demonstrating your desire to learn and share every aspect of your nail knowledge. A special THANK YOU to NAILS Magazine for their generous contribution for lunch.
I just wanted to THANK YOU for organizing the networking
day. It was awesome!! I really got a chance to meet and talk with other
techs and share ideas, as well as check out some other products without
the pressure of selling or buying!! It was great. And the goodie bags were
so much more than I could have imagined!! Again thank you!!! and count me
in for next year!!! Just wanted to drop a note to all
that attended and those that couldn't join us. I
had a wonderful day, and it was great seeing all my fellow educators
again, and meeting all the attendees. Debbie once again out did
herself. Lunch was great, and she really got all the manufacturers to
donate wonderful treats for the goodie bags as well as for the raffle.
I am already looking forward to next years event. When
I got home and looked at the goodie bag I could not believe what the
manufacturers had sent to give us. I am so sorry for anyone that couldn't make it to the Networking day on
Long Island! It was such a great day. Since I am an Educator I attend lots
of events...what I was most impressed with at this event was everyone's
desire to just learn, attendees as well as all the educators. Never
before, have I been in a room with so many Educators without the sense of
'competition' as it was today. This is what it's all about...the comradery
and sharing of information for the good of the Nail Industry. I am so glad
that I could be a part of this Day!!! I just wanted to write to say Thank You. I had a
wonderful time at the networking day. As the educator for Backscratchers I
was glad I could answer some questions for some of the Techs I was also
glad to have the opportunity to ask questions of the other educators. I
can't believe all of the gifts we received , and by the way lunch was
great. Thank you NailGodess, Deb outdid herself! The Education and talent at this event was unbelievable- everyone was so open and sharing, I'm sure everyone learned something! The Raffles were out of this world--- that table with the Raffle prizes HAD to have about $2,000. worth of product....... all GIVE ALWAYS - all FREE!!! It looked like 'Christmas' without the tree! AND the GOODIE BAGS! OMG! We got such a HUGE bag STUFFED (and was HEAVY!) with all free products from so many generous companies!I am also glad that I was a part of this day- and cannot thank Deb enough for all her hard work, and all the other Educators for generously donating their time and talent, and all the companies that donated also!
