Daytona Networking Day Let's see... where to begin..
Laura, Melissa, Karen, & Barb stayed after class to help me stuff goody bags and information envelopes. Thanks Guys!!! Then Karen, Melissa, Walt, my kids and I went to the Salon to set up and get things ready.
The drawings were amazing.. Everyone left with at least 2 drawing prizes AND their goody bags!
We ate, we laughed, we learned so much. I highly encourage anyone who is even considering doing one of these to DO IT!! It is so rewarding and educational and so much FUN!!! Sunday night after the Networking Pat Schembari, Wendy Molitor, Melissa Pechey, Karen Hodges, Barb Courier, Laura Campos and myself stayed at the beach house.. It was amazing!!! Teri Lea Yoest stopped by for a while and WOW can that girl dance!!! We did nails and just kept the party going from the Networking. We were still energized.
Debbie called Sunday a.m. to wish me luck and that helped me so much to hear her voice. Love ya Luvey!!! and she called Sun night to see how things went. So how was it Debbie? Could ya hear me? We were laughing so hard that poor Debbie is probably deaf now!! I had the pleasure of meeting some of the sweetest people.. Veronica Lock and her cousin Shanda drove up from Titusville. Adrienne Schodlter came in from Palm Harbor.. Stephanie Ruggerio came from Pinellas Park Who is still loving their Gussy Up apron?? Along with everyone listed above... I have to tell you the funniest part.. A lady walked up and asked if we were open.. so of course I said no with it being a Sunday.. and then she said.. well I was just wanted a nail fixed. I said "Sweetie.. this is your lucky day.. you are in the right place!! 20 nail techs in one place, how could she go wrong? So she got her nail fixed and we all laughed. How cool? I gave her menu and told her to come back anytime.. She was a tourist and down for a couple of weeks. So many thanks to those that donated products and drawing prizes and the techs that took the time to come from all over the State of Florida. I hope that it proved beneficial for you and I really do hope to see you guys next year... I had a blast!! I love you all and will be talking to you soon.. Saturday
was the AEFM Class.. Karen was awesome. I have been doing EVERYTHING
wrong! So there was my $150..Barb Courier & Laura Campos were there
and what sweethearts!!!
Sunday
was the Networking.. I was so nervous having to speak in front of
strangers.. but you know what? That lasted about 2 minutes.. b/c I wasn't
with strangers. I was among friends and was very comfortable. Everyone was
so great and attentive and hanging on every word. It was a small group so
there was an opportunity for anyone to ask the educators questions and
they did.
We
had an open house and everyone roamed from table to table, (including my
family) and Walt was very inquisitive. It was too cute. Pati Schembari was
demo'ing Soho pedi & I was demo'ing Star Nail pedis and we would see
heads pop into the pedi room on occasion. Melissa Pechey from Creative
Nail was on a roll.. I don't think that poor girl got up too often to
stretch.. We LOVE you Melissa!!! Karen from Key West was demo'ing
Beautiful Nails and from what I could see it is a nice product.. Marissa
Crane from NSI was demo'ing a lot of gels I believe. She did some
beautiful gel nail art on my daughter Devin. Karen from Key West had put a
beautiful set of gels on her the night before.
Teri
Lea Yoest from Poshe' is the cutest little thing on this planet. She had
the full line of Poshe' there. Barbara Merrick was there from Tammy
Taylor. And our own little Laura Campos was demo'ing Premium Nails.
