The Platform to Profit video serves two purposes. It first serves as a visual tool to help you prepare for nail competitions. Learn how to get started, how to choose your model, the best products and tools to use, the difference between a competition nail and a salon nail, and most importantly, what the judges are looking for. This video breaks down each of the judges criteria, explaining what the judges are looking, in depth demonstrations on how to achieve the correct look, and how all this knowledge will greatly improve your salon work, which is the second purpose of this video. Learn winning techniques that can produce success in the competition arena as well as in the salon. The intention of this video is also to provide you with the competitive edge, capable of improving your skill level, speed, and consistency, while at the same time challenging you to reach greater achievements and to be involved in the industry.

Who is Salina Rush?:
Salina Rush has 14 years experience in the nail industry. She is a salon owner, independent educator, cover artist, and a top competitor. She has been on the top 25 competitors list according to Nails Magazine since 1997.

In 2001, Salina was named Nail Technician of the year, her salon was named Salon of the Year, and she also earned the #1 spot on the Top 25 Competitors List. Salina believes that competition is the chief contributor to her success in the nail industry and believes that nail competition is the best educational tool the industry has to offer. Because of these strong beliefs, Salina has produced the first competition video, Platform to Profit. The goal of this video is to inspire more people to get involved in competition circuit and to start benefiting from it's rewards.
